Salinas Public Library was recently selected to participate in the "California Listens" project, a collaboration between the California State Library and StoryCenter. StoryCenter has worked with nearly a thousand organizations around the world and trained more than fifteen thousand people in hundreds of workshops to share stories from their lives.

Up to 15 adults will be able to participate. Details for the free, two-day intensive workshop are being finalized, and applications will be available by mid-February. For more information, contact Cathy Andrews at 831-758-7915 or email her at cathleena [at] ci.salinas.ca.us.
