Join us JULY 15th at all three library branches. Caterpillar puppets is putting on a show at the library as part of our Summer Reading Program. "The Rhythm Rats" is a bilingual puppet show for both children and adults.

This entertaining variety show will feature "Los Tres Cabritos Traviesos," a Norwegian folktale about a troll and some hungry billygoats. Silly fun for kids of all ages as the audience helps a puppet teach his new puppy dog tricks in "Paquito and Fideo."

Try to keep up with The Rhythm Rats, a fast paced game with increasingly tricky beats...guaranteed to generate giggles!

 
The Hornman for Everyone

Bill Nemoyten, "The Hornman," plays instruments from 5 continents. He talks of his travels, the peoples, cultures, and their music. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy this multicultural music event, featuring horns from around the world, including:

a South Seas Conch Shell, Israeli Antelope Horn, Australian Dijeridu, Tibetan Ran-Dung, Bugle, Trumpet, Trombone, French Horn, Baritone, Tuba, 12 foot long Swiss Alp Horn, and a "Hose-a-Phone."

Children are encouraged to participate by clapping, singing and mimicking the horns.
