Children's Author - Keiko Suzuki Freeland

September 27, 2014
11:00 am
John Steinbeck Library

Keiko Suzuki Freeland is a children's author that wrote, "Mom, I Want to Tell You Something..." This story is a delightful picture book about things that happen every day at home with young children. It shows how a parent's speech and behavior can affect how a young child feels, and how some kids hide how sad they are by an event that happens at home. This book is a good one to read to help open up dialogue between parent and child over difficult subjects to talk about.
