Teen Filmmaking Workshops

Saturdays from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm
Starting February 16th
John Steinbeck Library

Free workshops for teens interested in movie production. You will learn: script writing, directing, production, editing with Final Cut Pro, and more! You can also make a film for the 3rd Annual Teen Film Festival on April 5th at the Salinas Performing Arts Center and win cash prizes!

California Condor Storytime

350 Lincoln Ave, Salinas

Katie Lannon from Ventana Wildlife Society will be conducting a special storytime. Children will learn about the Condor with stories and crafts.

Rose Pruning Demonstration

Everything is coming up Roses at the Salinas Public Library! Joe Truskot, Master Rosarian with the Monterey Rose Society will give a rose pruning demonstration. Mr. Truskot is the author of "Central Coast Rose Manual: Creating a Personal Rose Garden."
