Current Comics Sponsors Readerman Contest |
Local comic store, Current Comics, is NOW sponsoring the Readerman comic contest. TEENS are invited to create a comic (any length) that tells a story about Readerman. The winner receives $100. Deadline for contest submission is August 15th. For more details about this and other TEEN contests click HERE.
The John Steinbeck and Cesar Chavez libraries both have Apple computers with software for making comics ( Comic Life)! This software is super fun and easy to use. If you need some Readerman pictures to get you started just visit the Readerman Flickr site. Once at Flickr, click on the image you want, then click the "all sizes" button located above the image, and lastly select the "download" link. We hope you come to the library and make your Readerman comic today! |
